1. Christ whose glo-ry fills the skies
              Em D C
   Christ the ev-er-last-ing light
              G C/G G
   The Son of Right-eous-ness a-rise
                G/D D G
And tri-umph o'er these shades of night

            G C/G G
2. And come Thou long a-wai-ted one
          Em D C
In the full-ness of your love
             G C/G G
And loose this heart bound up by shame

CH: So here I wait in hope of You
                  C G
All my soul's long-ing through and through
                   C G/B
And Day-spring from on high be near
                 Am7 D G
And Day star in my heart ap-pear

            G C/G G
3. Dark and cheer-less is the morn
               Em D C
Un-til your love in me is born
                G C/G G
And joy-less is the eve-ning song
             G/D D G
   Un-til Em-man-u-el has come
